St Francis of Assisi

I learnt that St Francis of Assisi had some great wealth and he wanted to be a knight. His turning point was when he was praying in the crumbling San Damiano he felt God talking to him and God told him to repair his house. Meaning to help the people who have been forgotten. When helping others he was not alone. St Francis of Assisi and others would go around and help the sick and poor. St Francis of Assisi saw the sun as his brother and the moon as his sister and all living creatures is a gift created by a loving creator. St Francis of Assisi would cross battles to speak with the Sultan to end fighting through friendship instead of swords.

 

Screen cast About Dragon ball

Today and the day before we had to do a screen cast about a fan fiction story on Dragon Ball. You also have to have a partner and work together. here’s my Partner and I’s work.

Goku is training around the world to get stronger to defeat pilaf. He uses the dragon radar to track down pilaf and retrieve the final Dragon Ball. 

Goku called flying nimbus and rushed to the mountains,to stop pilaf and his crew and retrieve the dragon ball. On his way to Pilaf, Goku saw a baby wolf cornered by 6 bears. Without wasting a second, Goku immediately rushed to help the baby wolf. He took his power pole and whacked the bears far far away . Goku took care of the baby wolf and eventually became his pet,so he named him Sora. Goku was planning to drop Sora home before fighting Pilaf and his crew.

”I’m hungry” said Goku.

He hopped on a flying nimbus and took Sora back home and introduced him to Bulma and to others before having lunch. He called flying nimbus and set back on his mission to stop Pilaf.

He makes it past the forest and makes it to the mountains to fight Pilaf’s crew. Goku saw pilaf and the final Dragon Ball. Goku went full speed ahead but Pilaf released all the monsters and Goku was in trouble.

Goku gets grabbed by a giant heavy claw and is not able to move. Goku is able to break one part of the claw and jumps back. The crew runs away and they leave without the dragon ball. Goku defeats the monsters and retrieves the last dragon ball. Then he goes home and trains for the next martial arts tournament.

Foreshadowing.

Here is my writing on foreshadowing in Dragon Ball .

For the last two weeks we have been studying the story of Dragon ball. Foreshadowing is really good for dragon ball because the author shows you what is going to happen next in the story. It shows things like fights, danger, someone died, you get the point. This makes Dragon ball AWESOME ,FUN.!!!

When the story foreshadows a new character is when someone asks another character to find someone. Another way is when someone is talking but you can only hear their voice. This makes you want to find out what he/she looks like and this is fun to watch.

New problems can happen when someone needs help or needs to defeat a bad guy and save the day. For example someone destroys 10 villages because his dad was a demon and no one let him stay. Therefore someone has to make him snap out of it.

New places can give clues to what the character is going to feel. Like feeling cold in a snowy place feeling hot in the desert. That is foreshadowing and it makes Dragon Ball fun to watch.

This is why I like foreshadowing in the stories I watch. I like cartoons, TV series, anime and more.! I hope to find out more about Dragon ball.

Things I Want My Next Teacher to Know about me.

Last week Room 7 and I  were doing a slide about Things I Want My Next Teacher to Know about me. Things like my hobbies, skills, Dislikes, and more. This helps the next teacher to improve the skills of people in the class. so people don’t like going to the next class because they think they are scary. I sometimes hope that the next one is fun.

 

Last week’s R.E.

Last week for our R.E we had to explain the Annunciation. And after that we did a google drawing of the event. The Annunciation is when Angel Gabriel told Mary that she was going to have a baby. And she has to name it Jesus as he is the child of God. Mary agrees as she prays to God everyday. Angel Gabriel told her she will have it in 9 months and so angel Gabriel was gone just like that. He is My Google drawing about the event.

 

Our Swimming Lessons

During the last 2 weeks we had swimming lessons. At CLM  round the bays. room 2 went first then all the boys in room 6, 7, and 8 went next and last the senior girls went last. every time before we went to the lessons our teacher put on different cartoons but everyone was doing their own things.

When we went the lessons were only 30 minutes there were three groups Beginner, intermediate, and Advanced I went to beginner. I had different teachers Chirstine, Kai, Kerry, and Parys and all of them were great i had fun doing things like. getting in the pool in different ways like the pencil drop, and going  into a ball and falling into the pool. When we got in the pool we had to put our hands on the right hand side and push our self into the pool and start the lessons and sculling all of these lessons were awesome.

Next year i hope to learn more and new things and thank you to CLM round the bays and all the teachers I hope to see them next year.

 

      

 

 

Old memory

Last year my family went to the arcade. We first went to the photo booth (only my mum and sister went in the photo booth). Then we went to the bumper carts. I got excited because I could ride the bumper carts by myself I had to bump others and that was funny.

Then we played a claw machine and lost multiple times. Then I went to the bumper carts again I got bored because my sister wanted to keep on going on the bumper carts so I went on something else while my older brother was getting points.

When we left the arcade we went to MC Donald’s for dinner I got a cheeseburger combo. When we came home we ate till we felt like we were a filled up bean bag. Then we headed to bed looking forward to the next day.

 

why we should save/not waste water.

Today Room 7 and I did Science experiment on saving water like doing little things for example having 5 minute showers and scraping the dishes not raising the plates, hang the towels nicely, use the same glass when you drink water. If we do these little things we can save enough water for everyone in the world so lets start saving water.
