Old memory

Last year my family went to the arcade. We first went to the photo booth (only my mum and sister went in the photo booth). Then we went to the bumper carts. I got excited because I could ride the bumper carts by myself I had to bump others and that was funny.

Then we played a claw machine and lost multiple times. Then I went to the bumper carts again I got bored because my sister wanted to keep on going on the bumper carts so I went on something else while my older brother was getting points.

When we left the arcade we went to MC Donald’s for dinner I got a cheeseburger combo. When we came home we ate till we felt like we were a filled up bean bag. Then we headed to bed looking forward to the next day.

 

why we should save/not waste water.

Today Room 7 and I did Science experiment on saving water like doing little things for example having 5 minute showers and scraping the dishes not raising the plates, hang the towels nicely, use the same glass when you drink water. If we do these little things we can save enough water for everyone in the world so lets start saving water. And here is my video with me and my friend talking about water being saved don’t mind the noise in the background.

“Wild things should be left alone”.

Today Room 7 and I talked about the book we were reading called dragon ball. We talked about “Wild things should be left alone”. The wild thing is Goku in the conversation. I think that Goku should not be left alone because he might get too lonely. Goku’s Grandpa (Grandpa Gohan) Was squashed one night but no one knows what he was squashed by. 

Goku seems to change everyone from bad guys to good guys. I like that, to be honest. I would like to read more of this book to find out how Goku makes friends around the world. Like when Goku saw master Roshi fall through Kinto’un. He fell though because you need to be pure of heart to ride the cloud. 

Dragon Ball Capsule Case Contents

Good morning and Good afternoon Today Room 7 and I did a Dragon ball reading activity. Here we had to write down what we would have in a thing called the Capsule. A Capsule is from a series/book called Dragon ball. in the show there are things called the Hoi poi capsules. It is a case full of capsules where you can put almost anything like  food, books and more. To use it you shrink the item  and to get the item out you click the top and throw it somewhere. Here is my list on what i would have in the capsule. I hope you like it.

Tina

Last Monday Room 7 and 8 had gone to the Due Drop Centre at Manukau to see the movie Tina.

On the way there to Due Drop Centre we saw places like Tip Top, KFC, Burger king and more. When we got to Due Drop Centre., we got inside we were the first school to get there. we saw many other high schools like One Tree Hill and more.

As we got in the theater we had to wait for 5 minutes for the movie to start. The movie was sad because at the start Tina’s daughter died due to an earthquake and Tina gets hired for a new Job at Francis High School on the second day Tina starts a choir. The rest of the teachers say NO cause they tried before but they let it happen. When Tina started the choir, there were a few people who were there. The next day lots of people came all because some random guy was followed by lots of people.

After a while Tina thought that they were good at best so she said that they should enter a contest called the BIG SING. So they said yes then they practiced and practice until Tina gets placed in the Hospital cause of cancer just before the big sing But they still went to contest and then they won. But its not all rainbows cause Tina Dies.

I would like to say thanks to the Due Drop Centre for letting us watch Tina.

 

Who is Phoebe in the bible?

Today room 7 and I had made a DLO about Phoebe who is in the bible reading Romans 16; 1- 2. here are some facts about phoebe.

Here is the story of Romans 16; 1 – 2.

In the bible Phoebe is a woman mentioned in Romans 16; 1 – 2. In the story the apostle paul commends Phoebe to bring a letter to the church in rome as a deacon of the church of cenchreae and also a helper of many.Paul entrusts her with delivering his letter to the Romans and requests that the Roman Christians receive her and assist her in any way she needs. 

Phoebe was the person would could answer their questions and explain further what Paul meant, due to her first hand knowledge of Paul’s message and her experience of serving the gospel alongside him as a co-worker.

It seems that she was a wealthy woman and that she had a well established reputation for generous service among the saints.

Phoebe is the goddess of intellect and is responsible for granting knowledge to both gods and mortals.

Not only was Phoebe willing to serve in this regard, but she was also willing to serve others.

Great Beginnings.

Today I have posted something that Room 7 has been doing as you see the title the program is called Great Beginnings. It is where when you write a story and you make the beginning the best part of the whole story. It allows the person reading the story to know what’s going on in the first paragraph of the story.

 

Another Murky Night With Jim.

The roads were silent that particular night. The only sound was the random machinery and a deer running around.

The soft mist suddenly enrolled on to the car window. But for some very good reason the deer ran right in front of you. You suddenly get a chill. You feel like there is something wrong with the deer so you waste no time to ram the deer over but you get even colder. You turn the heater to the highest but you just get colder. When you look at your friend Jim, he was dancing to the radio.
